Venue Information

The conference is hosted at the University of Sydney, a renowned institution globally recognised for its academic excellence and its historical significance. The campus is expansive, covering most of the Suburb of Camperdown, offering a blend of modern facilities and historic architecture.

The conference will predominantly take place at the University of Sydney Business School (Abercrombie Business School, ABS Building, Location)

Getting around Sydney

Airport to the City

Taxi: A taxi trip is around $45-$55 and will take around 20 minutes depending on the traffic. You’ll find taxi ranks at the front of all terminals – simply follow the signs to the nearest ranks for taxis

Rideshare services (Uber, Didi, etc.): Application rideshare services are available at Sydney Airport, simply download your preferred application, create an account, exit the terminal and walk to the designated pick-up location.

Sydney Airport has a designated pickup area for rideshare. Upon requesting your ride, the application will provide you with the option of either Priority Pick-up or Express Pick-up. The designated area is within walking distance from the exit. make sure that you are already in the designated pick-up area before requesting a ride. Rideshare services will cost approximately $25-$45

Public transport: There is a regular train between Sydney Airport and Central Station on the T8 Line (Map). The trip will cost $19.48 (off-peak hour) and $20.68 (peak hour). See below for more information on Sydney’s public transport.

Around City and Sydney University

Public transport: Sydney’s public transport includes trains, buses, light rails (tram), and ferries. The public transport schedule and planning are integrated with Google Maps (Free to download on the App Store or Google Play).

All of Sydney’s public transport is cashless and uses a contactless smartcard called Opal card. You can obtain Opal cards in most convenience stores, supermarkets, or train stations. Alternatively, MasterCard, Visa, or AMEX contactless features can be used as a form of payment for Sydney’s public transport. Please ensure to tap on and off with the same card.

Redfern train station is the closest train station to the ABS building.
