Net Zero Energy Building: the Smart Approaches – Online Event

A Net Zero Energy building (nZEB) is a building with zero net energy consumption and zero carbon emissions annually. In this session, we will explore the challenges of realizing nZEB and discuss how the information and communication technologies can play their roles in accelerating progress and development.

Wei Li is an ARC DECRA Fellow@ School of Computer Science, and a technical lead of the Australia-China Centre for Energy Informatics and Demand Response Technologies. His research interests include distributed computing, sustainable computing, task scheduling, decision making, Internet of Things, energy informatics, and medical informatics.

Javier Orellana is a principal consultant with Schneider Electric and is focus on helping clients navigate their digital transformation journey. Javier has over 30 year experience in the mining and technology sector with a focus on the application of enabling technologies to address business and operational challenges.
