Chemical Engineering Circular Economy Leaders Forum

ACEC’s first Leaders Forum in November 2018 concluded with a recommendation to introduce the Circular Economy in the Chemical Engineering Curriculum.

This session will be a discussion on our implementation approaches and how the underpinnings of circular economy principles have changed the way we teach.

This session will precede the discussions with a talk by:

Emeritus Professor Roland Clift, University of Surrey, UK; Adjunct Professor, University of British Columbia and University of Victoria, Canada
The Circular Economy: more than just recycling.

Professor Clift will present a historical perspective on Circular Economy, his reflections on past and future, along with reflections on the role of Chemical Engineering in the Circular Economy.
