This event is invitation only. If you would like to attend, please contact us.
ACEC’s first Leaders Forum in November 2018 concluded with a recommendation to introduce the Circular Economy in the Chemical Engineering Curriculum.
This session will be a discussion on our implementation approaches and how the underpinnings of circular economy principles have changed the way we teach.
This session will precede the discussions with a talk by:
Emeritus Professor Roland Clift, University of Surrey, UK; Adjunct Professor, University of British Columbia and University of Victoria, Canada
The Circular Economy: more than just recycling.
Professor Clift will present a historical perspective on Circular Economy, his reflections on past and future, along with reflections on the role of Chemical Engineering in the Circular Economy.
Professor Timothy Langrish, School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, USYD
Chemical Engineering academics and teachers interested in joining this session should write to the session chairs expressing their interest to join.
